About Mario Montaño

Mario, born and raised in Arizona, has lived all his life as a true native. After attending Central High School, in the Phoenix Central Corridor, Mario moved forward to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at ASU. While at ASU, he met his wife with whom he has two girls. After graduation, Mario secured several patents as a project leader in the semiconductor industry. In his spare time, he enjoys music, running, quad riding and custom automobile fabrication.

After several years in the semiconductor industry, Mario chose to dedicate himself full-time to his passion in Real Estate. Mario’s Background in Engineering has given him a discerning eye for details and skill to know where to focus his efforts to most effectively match client’s needs. He combines this project management experience with his detailed market knowledge to carefully listen to his clients and provide optimized choices based on their wants and requirements.

In addition to graduating from ASU, he is also a graduate from the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business and from Executive Launch, an advanced real estate business and marketing program. Mario is also a member of the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service, the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS®, the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Mario is an active member of the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS®, SAAR

Through his participation in SAAR, Mario constantly networks with other real estate professionals and learns about the latest issues effecting real estate through topics from foreclosure trends to interior design. In 2009, Mario graduated from the Scottsdale Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. The SAAR leadership academy is an in-depth program covering topics related to Scottsdale, such as: Arts & Culture, Fire & Police Departments, Education, Sports, Travel & Leisure, Healthcare and local & state Governance.

Mario has also graduated from SAAR’s Scottsdale 101 for REALTORS® program which is an 8 module course consisting of various topics of our Scottsdale Municipal Government.
